Following the remarkable success of the South East Melbourne Magic, which swiftly expanded to 38 teams within just two seasons across two associations in the South East, we are absolutely thrilled to unveil the launch of Melbourne City Magic for the upcoming Summer 23/24 season.

But we are more than a club; we are an eclectic family united by our shared passion for basketball. Our mission is to bring people from diverse backgrounds together, fostering an inclusive and supportive community. Whether you're a novice to the game or a seasoned player, we extend an invitation to you to learn the fundamentals or enhance your basketball skills. Amidst all the action, you'll forge new friendships and revel in the joy of the game within an uplifting and positive environment.

Coaching and player development are at the heart of Magic Basketball's ethos. Led by Livai Smith, an NBL1 Shooting Guard and experienced coaching coordinator, Livai and his team are dedicated to guiding you towards success, honing your unique skill set, and pushing you to reach your full potential in a fun and competitive setting. We understand that every player is unique, and Livai and his team of coaches focus on fostering individual growth while nurturing teamwork, positive communication, and knowledge sharing.
