The Audit & Risk subcommittee is dedicated to safeguarding the financial integrity of SEM Magic by overseeing the club’s financial activities and ensuring transparency in all financial matters. Additionally, it plays a key role in identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks that could impact the club, including financial, operational, and reputational risks. The subcommittee also ensures that the club adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, helping to maintain a strong governance framework and promote accountability across the organization.

Events & Fundraising Subcommittee

Scholarship Fund Subcommittee

The Scholarship Fund subcommittee is responsible for managing the club’s scholarship fund. Management Team

Jason Weidemann - Founder & General Manager

SEM Magic is fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced club administrator to assist with member inquiries. The club’s operations and coaching are overseen by Jason Weidemann, our founder and General Manager.

Jason brings 30 years of coaching experience, 20 years in sports management, and holds tertiary qualifications in coaching, management, and administration. His expertise ensures effective guidance and support for the club.

Jason Kelly - Management Consultant

We are honoured to have Jason Kelly as our Management Consultant. One of basketball’s preeminent management experts. Jason’s experience includes roles with Basketball Victoria, NBL and numerous basketball associations, providing a unique level of professionalism for club management and governance.
