SEM Magic is offering opportunities for boys and girls across U8 to U21 age groups, with teams competing in local competitions at Frankston (FDBA) & Chelsea (CADBA) Basketball Associations .
At SEM Magic, we pride ourselves on delivering a unique community basketball experience that prioritises long-term player development within a unified, professional, and supportive club environment. Our program is built around high standards, a strong club culture, and a clear developmental pathway for all players.
All prospective and returning members are expected to demonstrate a shared commitment to these values and understand the expectations involved in representing SEM Magic.
Before registering, all families are required to:

⛹️Free Trial Session
We invite prospective players to attend a free trial session and experience the SEM Magic Squad Training program firsthand. This is a valuable opportunity to get a genuine feel for our training environment before committing to registration.
Free trials are ideal for players who are:
🔹Considering joining for the upcoming season
🔹Interested in mid-season assessment for possible late entry into current season teams
🔹Looking for additional training and development opportunities outside their current team / club.
Our Squad Training program is designed for junior basketball players aged 5–20 years and focuses on building confidence, developing strong fundamental skills, and improving overall game understanding within a structured and supportive environment.
A free trial also allows players and families to become familiar with the club’s training structure, meet our coaches and players, and understand how our development pathway works before making a full-season commitment.

Before registering, all prospective and returning members must complete the SUMMER 2026/27 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION form as the first step in the process. This ensures every member understands and aligns with the club’s principles and expectations before joining.
Once your application is submitted, our team will review it and respond within 2–3 business days.

📅 Friday 4 September – PlayHQ registration due.
⚠️ Applications & Registrations recieved after closing dates will only be considered subject to places being available in suitable teams
