Training Player Program

Not quiet ready for game day?
No problem!

At SEM Magic we believe in making sure all our SEM Magic family are confident to take to the court and understand that sometimes it takes some time and development to help make this happen.

Which is why we have created the training player program!

As a training player your little baller will still be involved in squad training during the season to help build their skill level, relationships with both players and coaches and most importantly THEIR CONFIDENCE! With the view in mind that by the end of season they are ready to take to the court on GAME DAY, this is a great step for players who just need a little more time.

Summer Preseason Training Clinics

SEM Magic is pleased to announce a series of preseason training sessions for interested members and those wanting to get a sense of what SEM Magic is all about before committing.

Parents are welcome watch the sessions, meet the coaches, and ask us questions.

St. Augustine's School Clinic

Working alongside the Frankston Blues program, we are pleased to announce three basketball clinics coming to St Augustine’s Primary in Term 3. These FREE clinics are great for players interested in joining the SEM Magic Basketball Club for Summer 2022/23 season!

Furthermore, we are delighted to announce special guest appearance from Adrio Bailey at our clinics! Adrio is a member of the Frankston Blues Men NBL1 program and played NCAA Division 1 basketball at the University of Arkansas.

Each clinic will be comprised of a skills/activity session and Q&A session from club representatives for parents wanting to know more about the clubs. Players will also be given the opportunity to ask Adrio about his basketball career and journey

Beginner Program | Aussie Hoops (Chelsea Basketball)

Registrations for Aussie Hoops Term 4 are now open!

Aussie Hoops is the perfect introduction program to basketball for participants aged 5-11 years old. Once our Aussie Hoops participants are ready to move into a domestic team our Aussie Hoops Coordinator will help you liaise with our domestic clubs to find a team.

Thursdays 4.00pm – 4.45pm
Participant Fee - $80 + 3.49% PlayHQ Processing Fee
Basketball Victoria & Australia Fee - $7.28

Participant packs are purchased on-top of the above fee

Player Development | Domestic Academy (Chelsea Basketball)

Domestic Academy

CADBA are thrilled to announce our new Domestic Academy program beginning in Term 4. The Chelsea Domestic Academy is designed for players looking to take the next step in their basketball development and improve their skills and basketball IQ in a fun and safe environment.

Saturdays starting 15th October 2022
8 week program
11am - 12pm
Bonbeach Sports Complex, Cannes Ave Bonbeach
Ages 5 - 16 years

$80+ PlayHQ processing fee

This program will be lead by Chelsea Gulls VJBL coaches and supported by CADBA domestic coaches.
